14 Esempio di vacanza di posto (1) United Nations/Nations Unies POLITICAL AFFAIRS OFFICER, P-3 - DIVISION FOR PALESTINIAN RIGHTS - DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL AFFAIRS - NEW YORK Functions:Under the supervision of the Secretary of the Committee and the general guidance of the Chief of the Division, the incumbent conducts research, drafts statements and prepares reports or briefing notes on topics pertinent to the current focus of work on the Palestine question, monitors activities of UN agencies, other IGOs, NGOs and Governments on the question of Palestine, selects relevant documents for inclusion in a monthly bulletin, and is in charge of the preparations for the annual observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and the Palestinian Exhibit; drafts the Division's contribution to the UN Yearbook and the General Assembly Annotated Agenda.

15 Esempio di vacanza di posto (2) Requirements:Advanced University degree or equivalent in political/international relations, law or history. Four to eight years experience in political or social science work of the United Nations or in national government. Fluency and excellent drafting ability in English. Proficiency in French desirable. Preference will be given to equally qualified women candidates. Due to the volume of applications all internal candidates and only those external candidates under serious consideration will be acknowledged. The Secretary-General reserves the right to appoint a candidate at one level below the advertised level of the post.
