1 Modellizazione dei flussi di ozono The workshop and Task Force Meeting (ICP Vegetation) proposed that the flux-based indicators should be included in the EMEP and GAINS model. Both encouraged further collaboration with the EMEP centres to explore the possibility of including the indicators in the GAINS model optimization and to carry out ex-post analysis for the revision of the Gothenburg Protocol.

4 The Task Force Meeting proposed the following policy-relevant indicators for all receptors: Agricultural crops: a POD 6 of 2 mmol m -2 to protect security of food supplies by protecting against loss of protein yield, an important crop quality parameter (note: a POD 6 of 1 mmol m -2 was also defined to protect against loss of yield quantity); Forest trees: a POD 1 of 4 mmol m -2 to protect against loss of carbon storage in living trees and loss of ecosystem services such as soil erosion, avalanche protection and flood prevention; Grasslands and pastures: a POD 1 of 2 mmol m -2 to protect against loss of vitality and fodder quality in productive grasslands and grasslands of high conservation value; Grassland areas of high conservation value: a POD 1 of 2 mmol m -2 to protect against loss of vitality of natural species.
