Mettersi = to wear (Io) mi metto (Tu) ti metti (Lui/lei) si mette (Noi) ci mettiamo (Voi) vi mettete (Loro) si mettono Mettersi comes from the verb mettere (to put), so could be translated more literally to to put on (when talking about clothes). Mettersi is called a reflexive verb (like in English: myself eg. I wash myself). The mi, ti, lui/lei etc. are what shows that the verb is reflexive ie. Mi = myself, ti = yourself, si = himself/herself/themselves etc.
