LIBI: a multi-disciplinary bioinformatic laboratory finalized on specialized scientific topics Technological transfer and dissemination to promote training and service providing in the bioinformatic domain Multidisciplinary collaboration to promote a proficient interaction among fundamental researchers, IT industry and end-users Boost the bioinformatics research at an (inter-)national level by: Maintenance and setting up of new, specialized genetic and protein databases Developing new bioinformatic algorithms Realizing and implementing new, effective, automated bioinformatic analysis processes and mechanisms High Performance Information Infrastructure to support high speed computing and high capacity storage in R&D
Specialized Tools and Middleware High Performance Infrastructure LIBI will supply a high focused research & dissemination virtual space on some bioinformatic areas consisting of several partners.
