Engelen (direttore scientifico) di svolgere un’indagine quantitativa presso gli utenti dei vari Paesi su : necessita’ di costruire al CERN una nuova foresteria legata alla partenza di LHC (2007/2008) In caso di risposta affermativa, capire quanto grande Esiste gia’ una proposta per un nuovo edificio (societa’ ACCOR) 2 anni di costruzione, spesa di 11 MSF Capienza : 135 stanze/175 posti letto Attualmente Build : 315 stanze/390 posti letto Il 3 0 foyer rappresenterebbe un aumento del 45%

Possibilita’ del CERN di prenotare un certo numero di stanze. Domanda: quante 50 o 80? Il prezzo potrebbe aggirarsi sugli 89SF. 3. Necessita’ di reperire appartamenti Deve il CERN pubblicizzare la necessita’ di nuovi appartamenti per stimolare le imprese a costruire?

Anna Di Ciaccio CSN1- Frascati-16 Novembre Inchiesta sul foyer 1.a) In the last year, how many times (and for how many days, roughly) did you visit CERN? 1.b) For how many of these visits (and for how many days) did you stay in the hostel? 1.c) For how many of these visits (and over how many days) did you request a hostel room but had to find other accomodation as no rooms were available? 1.d) How many visits were cancelled because, having failed to book a CERN hostel room, you could not find accomodation elsewhere near CERN?

Anna Di Ciaccio CSN1- Frascati-16 Novembre Prenotazione di stanze all’hotel ETAP Would you be interested in staying in the ETAP Hotel (near bus n.9 ) as an alternative to other hotels if the CERN Hostel were full? (Such rooms in the Etap hotel might cost around 89CHF per night).

A chi chiediamo di rispondere: – ai singoli utenti (mailing list CERN:1074 utenti italiani) – ai responsabili locali – ai responsabili nazionali Una proposta : –I responsabili nazionali mi inviarmi una risposta complessiva (eventualmente a campione su qualche gruppo e poi si estrapolata ???) ed io poi faccio una statistica totale. –Le risposta dovranno essere presentata al prossimo meeting ACCU dell’8 dicembre.
