The Four Italian Conjugations The Italian language has four main conjugations. Verbs ending in: are first conjugation 1.–are belong to the first conjugation; ere second conjugation 2.–ere belong to the second conjugation; ire third conjugation 3.–ire belong to the third conjugation; urre fourth conjugation 4.–urre belong to the fourth conjugation.
