La quantità: dei, degli, delle
Dei, degli, and delle can be used with plural nouns to express indefinite quantities; you can think of these forms as plural forms of the indefinite article (un, uno,una). They are equivalent to the English some, few, or any. As shown in the chart, dei, degli, and delle follow the same pattern as shown in the chart below, dei, degli, and delle follow the same pattern as the plural form of the definite article, i/gli/le. Degli is used with masculine plural nouns that begin with a vowel, z, or s + a consonant. Delle is used with feminine plural nouns that begin with a consonant or with a vowel. Anna ha dei vestiti eleganti. Ho comprato delle scarpe nuove.
