Erasmus+ CBHE project 561890-2015E-JP

In Russia dozens of standard series of panel residential building projects exist. They are differ from each other by periods of construction, plans, number of storeys, construction solutions, thermotechnical properties of panels, etc. For the case study, as a sample to show the working principle of the model, we present the panel residential building of series. Large-panel 4-5-storey residential buildings of series of typical projects are the most common fully assembled buildings of the first generation built in The basis for the solution of the houses of the series in question is a cross-walled construction system. UNIGE – MARUEEB intensive course

The working principle of the model is described for this type of panel residential building. There’re 3 sections: one medium in the middle and two face sections: UNIGE – MARUEEB intensive course

Thermal analysis The residential building was built with expanded-clay concrete panel walls and reinforced concrete ceilings. At the present, the external walls are not insulated. The values of nominal heat transfer resistance for external walls, roof, double-glass windows and ceiling between basement and 1st floor are lower than required hear transfer resistance and are presented. Thermal analysis The problem of determination of optimal type and thickness of thermal insulation for external wall/roof consists of calculations of: Required heat transfer resistance of external wall/roof of residential building with specified internal conditions and climatic data; Reduced values of heat transfer resistance of external wall/roof; Thermal energy consumption for heating and ventilation during the heating season; UNIGE – MARUEEB intensive course
