4 La struttura dei numeri ~ 10-19
10 → Dieci 11 → Undici 12 → Dodici 13 → Tredici 14 → Quattordici 15 → Quindici 16 → Sedici 17 → Diciassette 18 → Diciotto 19 → Diciannove You can tell which part of the word refers to the units and which refers to the tens. The rules are exceptional only for this set.

6 Uno e Otto “Uno” and “otto” are the only two numbers that start with a vowel When you pair them with numbers like venti, trenta, ecc., you drop the last vowel in the tens number and push the two words together. LIKE THIS: Venti + uno = Ventuno Venti + otto = Ventotto Trenta + uno = Trentuno Trenta + otto = Trentotto Quaranta + uno = Quarantuno Quaranta + otto = Quarantotto

8 Mille - One Thousand - The thousands
Mille → One thousand, it is singular. Mila is the plural of one thousand, this is used when you have more than one thousand. Duemila → → Two thousand Tremila → → Three thousand Examples: Ci sono mille persone → there are one thousand people. Ci sono duemila persone → there are two thousand people.
