Creare un grafico comparativo dei seguenti titoli con l’ indice per l’ultimo anno: Heineken (NL) Scot & Newcastle (UK) Carlsberg (DK) Fosters (AU) DS Global Breweries Indice (BREWSWD) Ribasare a 100 i dati e cambiare la valuta in U.S. Dollars. Equity – Comparison one or more series – 401X (Actual Values) Use quick search in Navigator: Heineken (H:HB) Scot & Newcastle (SCTN) Carlsberg (DK:CAR) Fosters (A:FOST) Index DS Breweries ($) BREWSWD What is wrong with chart? Needs rebasing – chose 401X(Rebased) …and convert to US$

12 Personalizzazione del grafico
Aggiungere il titolo al grafico. Cambiare il colore dello sfondo del grafico. Modificare lo stile delle linee e dei testi. Salvare lo schema. Inserire un’annotazione. Right click and go to properties- make changes to line styles and text styles and fill styles/fill effects. Click on ‘save scheme as’ and explain options to save for personal use and in shared folder for all to use- corporate style etc.

Copia/Incolla Transfer Export Explain Various options for Transfer and Export Right click on chart OR ICON Only Transfer option is refreshable Open PowerPoint – New Sheet – Plain Slide Right click on chart - show example of Copy and Paste Open Word - Show example of Export Right click on chart – Export as WMF file – Note Path - Save Go to Word and Insert Picture from File Open Excel – Show Example of Transfer Right click on chart and Transfer or ICON Note : Chart will go straight to active cell when Transfer is used. Only 900A + 900B will give Transfer settings options. Only 900A + 900B + Charts have refreshable option.

Trasferire i dati in Excel Alter to Time Series Request 900B Delete DS Breweries Index Amend dates to Fixed Start Date 30/04/02 In settings alter frequency to M Right click on data – Transfer to Excel Explain Transfer Settings options In Excel - Briefly Show Editor and refresh button – Covered in more detail in Session 2

18 Progetti Rivedere e controllare tutte le richieste eseguite.
Eliminare la “overview” della serie macro- economica Salvare e chiudere il progetto. Riaprire ed aggiornare il progetto. Explain how projects work showing the previous requests have been saved into a project, say that you are already saving the requests as a project. Project Tab Delete Overview of Economic series. Save Project Open New Project Open old Project and Update

19 Progetti E` possibile utilizzare lo “Scheduler” per aggiornare il progetto all’ora stabilita. Nightshift is the same as setting a macro to run Tools – Schedule Nightshift Explain functions, e.g. Printing and Exporting Must add to request- leave Advance open but not connected. Explain now can schedule using NT wizard but only go through this if they are keen to see it.

FTSE all chemicals – LFTSECHM – Finish Will transfer into Local List Delete as normal BOC group Elementis

25 Equity Search Usare il programma Equity Search per creare una lista di azioni che rispondano ai seguenti criteri : Mercato UK Market Value superiore a 150 mln U$ Price Earnings Ratio compresa tra 10 e 12 Net sales superiore a 200 Mln di U$ Salvare Il risultato come lista locale Equity Search Tab New Search – Country :Add UK Sort Order & Currency - Descending / U$ MV Over 150m PE 10 to 12 Worldscope- net sales or revenue WC01001 over 200m- explain about worldscope- consistency and comparability and that total sales 104 will still work but from Feb this will show the Worldscope equivalent data I.e WC01001 Search Save As List Add description and Upload – will appear in local lists
