3 What are the consequences of bullying? What can a school community, teachers, students, parents and institutions do about it? Quali sono le conseguenze del bullismo? Cosa può fare la comunità scolastica, professori, studenti, genitori e le istituzioni? Il progetto mira ad analizzare il fenomeno del bullismo e le possibili soluzioni The project is an attempt to raise awareness about bullying and solution ways.

4 Promote a positive school climate, with the aim of preventing behaviour of moral and physical abuse (bullying) and reduce the trouble due to negative relational experiences. Promote understanding and sharing of social rules Promote a culture of prevention. Questionnaires: students from the three schools have filled in questionnaires aimed at to analysing their relation with school companions, mates and peers; the questionnaires aimed at understanding why a person with a lot of internal anger, chooses to displace his/her aggression onto another person. Questionari: agli studenti delle tre scuole sono stati somministrati dei questionari tesi ad analizzare la capacità a relazionarsi con i compagni, i pari e gli amici I questionari miravano a capire il perché si esprime e si scarica sugli altri la propria aggressività WIKI: Un potente strumento per la costruzione del ponte: un mezzo per unire le persone

7 The Interculture: Working on the problem of violence at school we intervene on the common sense of European citizenship, legality and democracy, so we intend to use the power of culture particularly the culture of the country we live in as anti-bullying programs. So our aim is to build a brick, a small brick, but able to build a long and strong bridge which breaks all the barriers in order to live in a multicultural society, but sure of our identity. In short, recognising culture diversity as an influence on relationship, identity, and social issues is rather crucial. Thats why we have named the project one more brick for the bridge L Intercultura: Combattere la violenza nelle scuole significa rinforzare la dimensione europea del sistema scolastico e lavorare sul comune senso della cittadinanza europea, legalità e democrazia. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di aggiungere un mattone, un piccolo mattone, nella costruzione di un ponte che abbatta tutte le barriere tra occidente ed oriente per poter vivere in una società multiculturale, pur conservando la nostra identità. Per questo noi abbiamo inteso usare il potere della cultura e in particolare della cultura delle nostre regioni come programma antibullismo.

Obiettivi: diffusione della consapevolezza di una comune appartenenza allUE rimozione dei pregiudizi e degli stereotipi reciproci (Italo/Turchi) Contenuti: la cultura Ottomana Attività: incontri settimanali, laboratori didattici, visita guidata (Quartiere islamico – Napoli) Refreshing and updated course: East which is your west? West which is your east? Aims: spread of an awareness of belonging to Europe. elimination of reciprocal prejudices and stereotypes (Italian/Turkish) Topic Ottoman culture. Activities weekly, meetings, workshop cultural trips (Islamic area in Naples)

14 We are working at the project, but we will work harder and together with the awareness that difficulties, problems, obstacles can be overcome. We are working to teach our students and ourselves that to know means not to be afraid. We are working to build the bridge, to fill in the gaps, to be closer Work is in progress, but a little piece of that brick has been made Thanks for being with us and good luck to everybody Stiamo lavorando al progetto e lavoreremo di più insieme, consapevoli del fatto che le difficoltà possono essere superate. Lavoriamo per insegnare ai nostri studenti e a noi stessi che conoscere significa non aver paura. Lavoriamo alla costruzione di un ponte che colmi le differenze e ci avvicini. I lavori sono in corso, ma una piccola parte di quel mattone è già stata realizzata. Grazie a nome di tutti coloro che lavorano per la buona riuscita del progetto. Work in progress
