Background Information He was born near the Maddalenina Pass in Modena, Italy. Enzo grew up with not a lot of formal schooling. The big thing that he had was a desire for racing cars. He was in the Italian army during WWI.
Contributions/Life He worked at a smaller car company, but he had little success. He then went to work at Alfa Romeo racing their cars in local races. He had more success racing cars for Alfa Romeo, when he won Ravenna he was given the prancing horse badge. This is the logo of Ferrari.
Contribution/Life Enzo started building cars to race using his name after WWII. He invented a supercar with increasing speeds on bad roads with no crowd protection. One Ferrari crashed and killed the driver, the co-driver and nine spectators when a tire blew. Ferrari invented a supercar that is still reaching high speeds and it is still very popular today. He has won a lot of races and championships in his lifetime.
Why We Should Know Enzo We should know Enzo because he was a brilliant man who went from car company to car company to try to find a job that he liked. He created a supercar that is still in production today and is still going to great depths to make sure that when they sell a car, the car is in perfect condition. For the price it should be in perfect condition.
Why I Chose Him The reason why I chose Enzo was because I love cars. I wanted to find out more information on how Ferrari came into the world and became a popular super car.
