The Technical Education and Training (IFTS) is a privileged area in our country regarding the development of key competencies. Characteristic of this type of educational iter is to facilitate youth and adults, employed or not, to achieve a high level of basic skills (basic and transversal competences) together with a deep technical and professional competence. The reorganization is currently underway within the system IFTS : the installation of basic and transversal standards, reformulated according to EQF format and then taking the articulation learning outcomes. The absences of a national low about Life Long Learning makes policies for adult education extremely heterogeneous in the different Region of Italy, with some cases of excellence and bad cases.
