The Beatles
Love, love, Love. Love, Love, Love. Love, Love, Love. There's nothing you can do that can't be done. Nothing you can sing that can't be sung. Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game. It's easy. Nothing you can make that can't be made. No one you can save that can't be saved. Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time. It's easy.
Chorus: All you need is love. All you need is love. All you need is love, love. Love is all you need. Chorus Nothing you can know that isn't known. Nothing you can see that isn't shown. Now here you can be that isn't where you're meant to be. It's easy. Chorus All you need is love (All together, now!) All you need is love (Everybody!) All you need is love, love. Love is all you need (love is all you need).
It was sung by the Beatles to Our World, the first global live television program. Submitted June 25, 1967 via satellite in twenty-six countries is estimated that the program was seen by 350 million people (150 million according to Roy Carr). The BBC had commissioned the Beatles song as a UK contribution to the program and this was the result. The song originally appeared as a single in the UK and the U.S. version of the 1967 LP "Magical Mystery Tour". Was called for a song containing a simple message that was understood by viewers of all nationalities. All you need is love expanded the message that John had first tried to express in "The Word. "It was a very inspiring song and really wanted to give a message to the world," said Brian Epstein, "The beauty of the song is that it can not be misinterpreted. It is a clear message that says that love is everything." John was fascinated by the power of the motto that unites people and was never afraid of creating socially and politically engaged art. When asked in 1971 whether songs like "Give Peace a Chance and Power to the People were propaganda songs, he replied:" Certainly. As it was All You Need Is Love.'m A revolutionary artist. My art is committed to change ". He became one of the hymns of the flower children, and all that, the choreography, attire of the Beatles and the many accompanying singers in the studio recording, among which the figures of Mick Jagger (lead singer of the Rolling Stones) and Kim McLagan (wife of drummer Keith Moon of The Who), had been meticulously prepared to send the world a message of peace, hope, love, nonconformity and protest.
I chose this song because it reminded me of a broadcast that I watched as a child, and because I really like.
