Introduzione Ora sulle linee metropolitane e su quelle regionali si presenta la necessità di ridurre il cadenzamento aumentare la frequenza dei treni mantenedo la compatibilità con SCMT. ASTS per ottemperare a queste richieste vede principalmente due soluzioni che richiedono minori interventi in termini di sviluppi ed impatti all’infrastruttura. Il Sistema HDTS Circuiti di binario in audiofrequenza I circuiti di binario in AF sono utilizzati anche per trasmissione di Telegrammi al sistema di Bordo SSB I circuiti di binario in AF vengono utilizzati per la realizzazione di sezioni di blocco di lunghezza opportuna. Ci possono essere due possibilità a seconda nella necessità di cadenzamento: Lmin=100m – Lmax=450m Lmin=100m – Lmax=800m Inoltre i circuiti di binario in AF possono essere sovrapposti ai circuiti di binario esistenti in bassa frequenza. 11 Quelle che possono rispondere meglio sono: Livello 2 Livello 3
Il Sistema ERTMS Possono esserci diverse combinazioni in ambito ERTMS per soddisfare alle richieste di cadenzamento per aree metropolitane ad alta densità. Quelle che possono rispondere meglio sono: Livello 2 Livello 3 Il sistema ERTMS REGIONAL è più indicato per linee a scarso traffico. L’approccio REGIONAL mantenendo invariato il SSB consente una completa interoperabilità permettendo allo stesso tempo un notevole risparmio a livello di infrastruttura di terra. Il Sistema ERTMS Il sistema ERTMS per sua natura qualunque sia il livello è sovrapponibile ai sistemi di segnalamento esistenti. 13 Il Sistema ERTMS Seguendo l’approccio utilizzato per le linee AV/AC si avrebbe un sistema di bordo interoperabile. Il sistema SCMT potrebbe funzionare da back up quando non si ha la copertura radio. Per le linee dove non è richiesto un forte cadenzamento si potrebbero applicare i concetti ERTMS REGIONAL. Con questa scelta il sistema di bordo è applicabile per tutte le soluzioni. Conclusioni Il sistema ERTMS Il Sistema ERTMS L2 e poi L3 può rappresentare una soluzione efficace per: Applicare un sistema di controllo della marcia del treno in situazioni dove non sia presente alcun sistema esistente e si voglia nel contempo aumentarne le prestazioni introducendo i concetti di blocco mobile. Dal punto di vista dell’infrastruttura di terra sarebbe richiesta una copertura GSM-R adeguata per coprire le aree d’interesse. Dal punto di vista del sistema di bordo si potrebbe applicare l’attuale sistema adottato per le linee AV/AC. L’aggiornamento dei SSB potrebbe essere fatto in modo graduale senza impatti all’esercizio. Compatibilità con tutta la rete RFI. Riduzione dei costi di manutenzione dell’infrastruttura di terra. 17 Conclusioni Pro e Contro
Dal punto di vista dell’infrastruttura di terra per linee dove esiste già la copertura GSM-R la soluzione ERTMS è vincente in quanto non si introdurrebbe nulla tranne la parte di RBC mantenendo di fatto inalterato il livello di manutenzione della linea. Dove non c’è una adeguata o assente copertura introdurre la rete GSM-R ha un impatto importante in termini economici A differenza di ERTMS/ETCS che è consolidato, Il Sistema HDTS è un sistema nuovo che deve essere ancora specificato e validato. Il sistema ERTMS prevede un maggior costo del sistema di bordo per la presenza della comunicazione GSM-R. In entrambi i casi è garantita l’interoperabilità con tutta la rete RFI. 18 Le soluzioni e le esigenze non sono tutte uguali.
Conclusioni Le soluzioni e le esigenze non sono tutte uguali. Per come è strutturata la rete il riferimento è SCMT. A seconda del distanziamento voluto si potrà procedere alla sovrapposizione su SCMT di un sistema adatto a linee metropolitane. Per ogni specifica applicazione occorre fare un Business Case che aiuti ad individuare la soluzione migliore in termini di costi/prestazioni.
