2 PROGRAMME SCHEDULE FOR THE COMENIUS MEETING IN MERSIN TURKEY 27APRIL – 1 MAY 2009. Monday 27 th. 9.00.-Meeting at ERDEMLİ ANATOLIAN TEACHERS’ HIGH SCHOOL. Introduction of the teachers and students. Group dynamics. 10.00.-Some guidelines for the meeting in Mersin. Presentation of the tasks planned and designed in Spain 11.30.-Coffee break. 12.00.- Students who want to present the different characteristics of topics or aspects from their own countries. 15.00 - Guided visit of Mersin (city centre) after lunch Tuesday 28 th. 9.00.-Presentations of the schools (Turkey – Italy – France) 10.30.- Coffee break. 11.00.- Presentations of the schools (Poland – Greece - Bulgaria) 14.00 – A trip to industrial zone of Mersin and then to Tarsus which is an important area for Christianity Wednesday 29 th 7.00. A daily trip to Cappadocia, an international tourism region of exceptional natural wonders characterized by fairy chimneys. A case study. Thursday30 th 9.00.- Presentations of the schools (Italy – Spain – Romania) 10.00.- Planning and designing next meeting in Polond. Future plans. 12:00 – A trip to Söğüt ( a high plateau) to see trees with lichens and then to Kızkalesi region of Mersin which is famous for its historical and natural places. Friday 1 st Conclusions. Evaluation and feedback. Saturday 2nd Optional activities/free time for participants leaving later
