7 Crescete sempre e mai stancatevi di avanzare nella regina di tutte le virtù, la carità cristiana. Considerate che non è mai troppo il crescere in questa bellissima virtù. Abbiatela cara assai, più ancora della pupilla degli occhi vostri, poiché è propriamente la più cara al nostro divin Maestro che, con una frase tutta sua, usa chiamarla "precetto mio". (Ep.II, p.383-384) Grow, grow all the time, without tiring to advance in that queen of virtues which is Christian charity. We can never grow too much in this most beautiful of virtues. Cherish it with all your heart, even more than the pupil of your eye, because, indeed, it is most dear to the Heart of our Divine Master, who, with a phrase totally his own, was delighted to call it ‘my precept’.
