From the analysis of data relating to the average sea level and chloride levels, measured in well B, Porto Recanati, a mathematical model will be created.

Progettazione delle OO.PP. e Difesa della Costa PP3 CONCLUSIONS This is the current situation in relation to the state of art: Action 3.8: this action concluded with the acquisition of hydrological data and its organization in the GIS. Action 4.3: a weather gauge was installed, as well as monitoring devices in Well B, Porto Recanati. In 2007, more monitoring devices will be installed in another significant well field. Data acquisition and elaboration will continue in order to develop a model that will simulate groundwater behaviour in relation to drainage and seawater intrusion. Action 4.6: we have acquired documentation relating to the public water authority’s Field Plan (ATO3) and the elaboration of data (action 4.3) will allow for the development of methods that will preserve the characteristics of water resources.
