Apertura di Erasmus ai Partner Countries dal 2015: nuove regioni! Studenti per studio Staff per docenza e formazione Un progetto di Mobilità può prevedere una o più attività: Study period at HEI abroad Teaching period > STA da impresa no per 107 Training period > professional dvp of HEI staff through training events (no conferences) + job shadowing/training/observation periods at partner HEI Who can participate: Main targets: HE students, teachers & staff. Do not apply directly. Applicant organisation (Programme Country): applies for mobility project, signs and manages grant agreement & reporting Sending organisation (Programme & Partner Country): selection, preparation, monitoring & recognition Receiving organisation: receives & offer study programme or training/teaching activities If project selected, participating organisation becomes beneficiary of E+ grant & signs grant agreement Budget: Total 2017 (mobilità): oltre EUR 138M, split into 13 budget envelopes (more details later on).

2017 NO Traineeship STUDENTI Ciclo breve, triennale, magistrale, dottorato Tutte le aree disciplinari da 3 a 12 mesi Max. 12 mesi per studente per ciclo di studio STAFF da 5 giorni a 2 mesi (esclusi i giorni di viaggio) Minimo 8 ore di docenza a settimana Study period must be part of student's study programme to complete a degree Enrolled at least in second year of HE studies Same student may do mobility periods totalling up to 12months per each cycle of study

Sono I punti focali in questi Paesi per gli stakeholders coinvolti nel Programme nell’area dell’istruzione superiore. Erasmus Charter for Higher Education Accordi Inter-istituzionali Learning Agreement per gli studenti Mobility Agreement per lo staff ECHE For mobility between Programme Countries, all HEIs must be holders of ECHE (commit to provide all necessary support to participants, including linguistic preparation) IIA For mobility between HEIs in Programme and Partner Countries, participating HEIs must sign IIA before start of the mobility New elements: Sets mobility flows & preconditions recommended language skills Calendar of nomination, transcripts of records, termination of agreement Information on grading system of the institutions, visa, insurance and housing Partner countries agree to ECHE principles included in inter-institutional agreements: Non discrimination; Full recognition; No fees charged; Publish course catalogues; Good preparation of mobile students (language, documents, logistics); Assistance for visas, accommodation, insurance; Guidance to incoming participants; Equal academic treatment & services; Integration into the local society; Mentoring; Language support Learning Agreement is signed by the student, the sending and the receiving institution/enterprise >> define target learning outcomes, specify recognition provisions + list rights and obligations of each party. Responsible person in the sending institution = academic who has the authority to approve the mobility programme and to guarantee full recognition Responsible person in the receiving institution = academic who has the authority to approve the mobility programme and to give academic support Mobility Agreement The sending higher education institution supports the staff mobility as part of its modernisation and internationalisation strategy and will recognise it as a component in any evaluation or assessment of the teacher.

5 Strumenti finanziari 13 regioni No trasferibilità tra strumenti finanziari Cooperazioni con partner nei Paesi meno sviluppati e più poveri (target EU ) Bilanciamento geografico P.40: “These are the geographical targets set for mobility between Programme and Partner Countries at EU level by 2020” Ogni strumento finanziario ha le proprie regole (es DCI e EDF e mobilità possibili), i 5 strumenti coprono le 13 regioni. In genere, i fondi devono essere utilizzati in modo bilanciato geograficamente. Vedi target della CE fissati a livello EU e nei 6 anni del programma ( ) che pertanto non devono essere raggiunti a livello nazionale ne’ tantomeno di Istituto

2020 targets Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambogia, Laos, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar America Latina: Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay Not useful to apply for mobility with every country imaginable (2015 average: 4-5) Go for less usual suspects (geographical balance) Target those envelopes with bigger budgets (IPA, ENI) If newcomers: start with staff mobility Beware of secondary criteria & budget restrictions 26 months recommended Be precise in your quality questions!
