Background Bladder cancer 7% of all cancer Incidence rate < 100 cases in literature since 1950 Prognostic value unresolved question < 39 @ 0.02% 40-59 @ 0.41% 60-59 @ 0.96% > 70 @ 3.5% Il tumore della vescica ha una prevalenza molto alta nell’uomo con la massima incidenza intorno ai 60 anni. Nelle prime due decadi invece la sua incidenza è molto bassa , stimata intorno allo 0.1-0.4%. Il numero totale di casi riportati in letteratura fin dal 1950 sono meno di 100. Uno dei quesiti non ancora risolti riguarda il comportamento biologico di questa malattia e quindi il suo valore prognostico. Ci sono alcuni dati riportati in letteratura che descrivono questo tumore comee meno aggressivo rispetto agli adulti,altri invece hanno osservato una storia naturale simile tra adulti e bambini. Conclusion accurate evaluation of gross haematuria is necessary in children transitional cell carcinoma is rare entitity < 30@ 20-30@ GREY AREA bladder ultrasonography higher sensibility in children pediatric and adolescent patients (<20 @) = adults young adults (20-30 @) = adults Il nostro studio conferma come il tumore di vescica sia una rara entità pRIMA DEI 30 ANNI, SPECIE NEI PRIMI 10 ANNI DI VITA, MA CHE LA COMPARSA DI EMATURIA CI DEVE INDURRE ANCHE IN QUESTE FASCE DI ETA’ AD APPROFONDIRE LE INDAGINI ANCHE CON LA SOLA ECOGRAFIA. Which future for these patients??
