La terra si veste La terra si veste del giallo delle foglie in autunno Il vento raccoglie i sussurri dei trepidi uccelli e gioca coi rami avvizziti che additano il cielo. Cadono le foglie Cadono già le foglie. Sono stanche. Hanno visto tant'acqua e tanto sole. Sbocciate con le tenere viole, cadono prima delle nevi bianche. La loro vita dura una stagione: cadono a sciami,a sciami frusciando; i bimbi le sparpagliano passando e le raccolgono a farsene corona. Il vento le trasporta in mulinello e soffia e picchia con malinconia; esse fan tutti gli anni questa via: parton col brutto e tornano col bello. (R:Callevi) The leaves already fall.
