HISTORY The song was recorded during sessions for the album The Beatles 22 and August 23, 1968 at EMI's London studios in Abbey Road. At the sitting of mixing the album, directed by Lennon, McCartney and George Martin, it was decided to use it as the opening track. I chose this song because it's cheerful, it reminds me of good times in my life when I was in Moldova! The message we want to convey is that John Lennon wanted to return again in the USSR as you like Russian girls and Ukrainian!
