Reflexive verbs Have ‘Mi’ in front of them - i.e. their action is done to yourself. Mi sveglio = I wake myself up Mi alzo = I get myself up Mi lavo = I shower myself Mi lavo i denti = I brush my teeth Mi pettino = I comb my hair Mi vesto = I get dressed, or dress myself

When asking someone else MI becomes TI Ti svegli = you wake yourself up Ti alzi = you get yourself up Ti lavi = you shower yourself Ti lavi i denti = you brush your teeth Ti pettini = you comb your hair Ti vesti = you get yourself dressed
